NDHP participating in Roadcheck

The North Dakota Highway Patrol is providing troopers and civilian inspectors through Thursday as part of a nationwide commercial motor vehicle enforcement and educational program.

Roadcheck, a Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance program with a 72-hour period of large truck and bus safety inspections, will focus on cargo securement with a Level I Inspection of driver operating requirements and vehicle mechanical fitness. Driver’s license, hours-of-service documentation, motor carrier registration and shipping documentation will be checked along with seat belt usage and use of alcohol or other drugs.
