Motorcyclist hurt near Oriska
A motorcyclist was injured in a crash Saturday in Barnes County, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The crash occurred at 11:10 a.m. when a 2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycle driven by Danny Lindseth, 40, Paige, N.D., failed to negotiate a curve while going southbound on N.D. Highway 32, about 3 miles north of Oriska, the patrol said. The patrol said Lindseth entered the east ditch where he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed.
Lindseth was injured and flown by Sanford AirMed to Sanford Health in Fargo where he is being treated for his injuries, the patrol said. Lindseth was not wearing a helmet. He was cited for care required and operating a motorcycle without the proper class of license.
Barnes County Ambulance and Barnes County Sheriff’s Office also responded to the scene.
